Mr Slater is the Founder and Chairman at Slater Group, a mining ventures firm based in Vancouver creating opportunities in natural resources exploration and development throughout the Americas. He has founded numerous private and public companies in the resource space over the last 17 years including Valory. Mr Slater is a Chartered Accountant who brings experience from previous roles at Ernst & Young where he was Managing Partner of the Canadian Mining Practice, and Arthur Andersen where he was Managing Partner of the Central Asia Mining Practice.
