The Mine 14 project is owned by Summit Coal Limited Partnership and Summit Coal Inc. (collectively, “SUMMIT”).  SUMMIT is currently wholly owned by Maxim Power Corp. (“MAXIM”).  Valory has entered into an option agreement with MAXIM such that Valory has the option to purchase SUMMIT under pre-agreed terms and conditions in exchange for paying for and advancing the remaining required approvals for construction and operation of the Mine 14 project.  Please see MAXIM’s website for further information on the Mine 14 project.

In advancing the required approvals for construction and operations of the Mine 14 project, Valory has:

  • Entered into discussions with rail and port operators;
  • Employed key staff;
  • Engaged consultants to produce a Feasibility Study by Q3, 2023;
  • Commenced discussions with mining contracts; and
  • Engaged with third parties regarding offtake agreements.
